Go Behind the Scenes of Film, Television, and Radio with AFTRS Open Day 2022

Go Behind the Scenes of Film,

The Australian Film, Television, and Radio School (AFTRS) has always been ahead of the game in the scheme of further education – driving students towards their goals in the world of media through their state-of-the-art facilities, degree programs, and all around excellence in education. With 2023 approaching, AFTRS is eager to see prospective students jump into the scene, and see what they’re all about with the 2022 edition of its annual AFTRS Open Day.

With 50 years of experience working hand-in-hand with the film, television, and radio industries, it’s no wonder AFTRS have had alumni like director Jane Campion (The Piano, The Power of The Dog), director Warwick Thornton (Samson and Delilah, Sweet Country), and so many more greats like Gillian Armstrong, Philip Noyce, and Shannon Murphy.

Taking place this Saturday, the AFTRS Open Day event will provide a thorough exploration of all of the school’s current programs.

Available both virtually and in person, the Open Day is the perfect opportunity to see what AFTRS programs and facilities are all about, and really immerse oneself in the AFTRS experience.

With hands-on exercises and all-access campus tours happening on their Sydney campus in the Entertainment Quarter, and virtual and in-person activities happening with live chats, panel discussions, get-to-know sessions featuring students, lecturers, and alumni, and all the help you could ever need for the 2023 intake applications, the Open Day will have it all.

Spanning across six hours, perspective students attending the Open Day will have the opportunity to attend information sessions on all the programs available, get application tips, take part in a Q&A session with student panels, sit in on demonstrations in interactive studios, and so much more.

The AFTRS team will also be on hand during the Open Day to answer any questions related to courses, studying, and applications.

For those seeking a career in the media industry, AFTRS is the front runner on the scene for the degrees and schooling to accelerate or begin your career. With scholarships available for their degrees and the AFTRS Open Day coming up fast, there’s no better time than now to discover a degree for you, and to get it underway.

The 2022 edition of AFTRS Open Day for prospective 2023 applicants will be on Saturday, August 13th from 10AM until 4PM, happening both in person on the Sydney campus and virtually. Those keen to attend will need to register in advance in order to attend.
