“Heartbreak Island” is the latest reality show to hit Australian shores, offering contestants the opportunity to “find their ideal lover” and secure $100,000.

The show, produced by Imagination for Warner Bros. Discovery, will run exclusively on the Seven Network’s broadcast video on demand (BVOD) platform 7Plus.

The 16 contestants range from 21 to 29 and hail from Australia, New Zealand, the U.K. and the U.S..

It will be filmed in Fiji, where the contestants will pair up, face challenges and choose to “stay or stray” from their partners during the passion plays.

The show poses the question: “Who is looking for love, who wants to pocket the cash and who is out for revenge?”

It will be hosted by Clinton Randell from “Masked Singer NZ” and “Dancing With The Stars NZ”.

Randell said he can’t wait for viewers to see the show.

“I couldn’t wait to start shooting “Heartbreak Island Australia”, this time with our first-ever global cast,” he said. “I cheered, laughed, teared up, stirred the pot, threw in a few twists and made life-long friends.”

“Heartbreak Island” first debuted in 2018 in New Zealand, a TVNZ production.

Season 1 was won by Australian Harry Jowsey, who went on to star in Netflix’s “Too Hot to Handle”.
