Kirby Bentley has been revealed as the winner of the inaugural season of “The Traitors Australia,” picking up the $200,600 prize.

The “Australian Survivor” all-star defeated Faithful Keira Maguire in the Grand Finale, becoming the last player standing after a season of deception, suspicion and near-banishments.

“This game is hard… it’s so good not to lie anymore,” Kirby said after her victory.

Kirby entered the final stage alongside Keira, Krissy Marsh and fellow Traitor Rhys Nicholson.

After Rhys was banished at the final Round Table, Kirby, Keira and Krissy gathered around the fire to decide whether another Traitor remained in the game.

Kirby and Keira both elected to banish again, eliminating Krissy and leaving the pair to reveal their identities.

Keira declared herself a Faithful before Kirby revealed she had been an original Traitor since the beginning of the competition, securing the entire prize pool.

Selected by host Gretel Killeen as one of the original Traitors, Kirby attracted suspicion during the opening days of the game.

However, the former AFLW player survived each Round Table and kept her identity hidden throughout the season.

“I just won The Traitors when I nearly got banished on day two, day three, day four, day five… in all the days, I nearly got banished every single day!”

Kirby, a proud Noongar Yamatji woman, said the victory meant more than the competition.

“Everything that I’ve done has definitely been worth it. This is massive, not only for my family, but for Aboriginal people, and women as well.”
