Christopher Lloyd leads the Supa-Star guest lineup announced for Supanova Comic Con & Gaming’s 2026 Sydney and Perth events.

Supanova Sydney will take place from June 19–21, before the convention heads to Perth from June 27–28.

Best known to generations of fans as Doc Brown in “Back to the Future,” Lloyd arrives with a screen legacy that also includes “The Addams Family” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.” His appearance gives the first announcement a major nostalgia hit, anchoring a guest list that spans some of the most recognisable franchises in film, television, animation and fandom culture.

Joining him is “Star Wars” veteran Anthony Daniels, the only actor to appear in every theatrical release of the franchise since 1977. Daniels is best known for bringing C-3PO to life across Episodes I–IX, Rogue One and a rare in-person appearance in Solo, making his Supanova return a significant drawcard for fans of the galaxy far, far away.

Simon Pegg will also appear across both Sydney and Perth, bringing a career that stretches from cult comedy favourite “Shaun of the Dead” to blockbuster franchises including “Star Trek” and “Mission: Impossible.”

The line-up also includes former “MythBusters” co-host and executive producer Adam Savage, whose work through “Adam Savage’s Tested” has continued to connect science, storytelling, making and fan culture.

Television fans will have plenty to work with, too. “Superman & Lois” stars Alex Garfin and Michael Bishop will appear, alongside “Charmed” favourites Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause, reuniting one of Supanova’s beloved nostalgic pairings across both weekends.

Australian film and television talent will also be represented, with Mitchell Hope, Nathan Jones, John Jarratt and Lincoln Lewis joining the guest list. Hope is known for “Descendants,” “Let It Snow” and “Love You Like That,” while Jones’ credits include “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Furiosa” and “Mortal Kombat.” Jarratt brings his “Wolf Creek” legacy to the convention floor, with Lewis adding a familiar local screen presence through “Home and Away”.

Voice acting fans are also covered, with Veronica Taylor, the original voice of “Pokémon” lead Ash Ketchum, appearing in both cities following the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Neil Fanning, the unmistakable voice behind the titular character in the live-action “Scooby Doo” films, will appear exclusively in Sydney.

Fresh off the release of “Mortal Kombat II,” Karl Urban will join the 2026 lineup, appearing exclusively in Sydney. Best known for his roles in “The Boys,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “Star Trek” and “Dredd,” Urban adds to an expanding Supanova guest roster for the event.

Alongside the guest announcements, Supanova will bring its Level Up experience to Sydney on Friday, June 19. The industry and education initiative invites students from Years 8–12, tertiary students and emerging creatives to explore careers across gaming, technology, coding, creative arts and digital innovation.

The Sydney Level Up program will include keynote appearances from award-winning broadcaster and science communicator Adam Spencer, appearing exclusively for the initiative, alongside Adam Savage and Anthony Daniels. The day will feature seminars, networking, esports stages, competitions, exhibitor showcases and interactive demos.

Tickets and further announcements are available via the Supanova website.
