Production has officially begun on the third season of the award-winning Australian series, “Colin from Accounts”.

BINGE announced the news on Tuesday (March 3rd), which will see creators, writers and stars Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer return, as well as Emma Harvey, Genevieve Hengey, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson and Darren Gilshenan.

Season three will also see new additions to the cast, including Thomas Cocquerel (“All Her Fault”, “Gilded Age”), Nikki Shiels (“The Last Anniversary”, “Prosper”) and Mark Trevorrow (“The Bob Downe Show”, “Kath & Kimderella”).

After the season 2 cliffhanger, it would be cruel not to show you all what happens next, and we can’t wait for you to see it. Getting to make this show continues to be a total thrill for us, and we’re pumpled (pumped & humbled) that people have enjoyed the first two seasons so much. That’s what they say to our faces, anyway.”

Season one of “Colin from Accounts” premiered in 2022 to critical acclaim and became Foxtel Group’s most watched original scripted series of all time. It has since screened in the UK on the BBC and in the US on Paramount+.

“Colin from Accounts” also won the Gotham TV Award for Breakthrough Comedy Series in 2024, with Dyer taking home the award for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. The series was also nominated for a BAFTA TV Award in 2025 in the International category. In Australia, the series received 19 nominations for the 2024 and 2025 AACTA Awards, including Best Narrative Comedy Series, which it won in 2024; Best Acting in Comedy for Brammall, Dyer, Thomson and Hegney; Best Direction in Drama or Comedy, Best Screenplay in Television; Best Editing and Best Casting in Television, as well as eight Logie nominations across the two seasons including wins for Most Outstanding Comedy Program, Most Outstanding Actor for Brammall and Most Outstanding Actress for Dyer in 2023.

“Bold, original Australian storytelling is at the heart of Foxtel Group’s scripted strategy, and ‘Colin From Accounts’ is a perfect example of how local stories can connect with audiences here and around the world,” Foxtel Group’s Director of Scripted Originals, Lana Greenhalgh, said.
