The first marketing stunt for the massive Beatles four-film event is here.

“The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event,” which is set to arrive in theaters in 2028, has released first looks at the Fab Four via postcards distributed at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts on Thursday. The school was co-founded by Paul McCartney.

The cards, presented on the school’s Instagram account, and also posted by students, show the actors as their respective band members, including Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.’

The films also star Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, James Norton as Brian Epstein, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono, Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd, Harry Lloyd as George Martin, David Morrissey as Jim McCartney, Leanne Best as Mimi Smith, Bobby Schofield as Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffmann-Gill as Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill as Derek Taylor, and Adam Pally as Allen Klein.

All four films, each directed by Sam Mendes and coming from the perspective of a different Beatle, are set to be released on April 7, 2028.

“I’m honored to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies,” Mendes said in a statement when the multi-film project was announced.
