HBO will debut the original comedy series “Rooster” in March 2026. Starring Steve Carell, who executive produces alongside series creators Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses, the 10-episode season will premiere on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Set on a college campus, “Rooster” will follow a middle aged author (Carell) navigating a complicated relationship with his daughter (Charly Clive).
In addition to Carell and Clive, the show will also star Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, and Lauren Tsai. Jeff Ingold, Jonathan Krisel, Barbie Adler, Annie Mebane, David Stassen, Anthony King and Liza Katzer join Carell, Lawrence and Tarses as executive producers
The series was made by Warner Bros. Television, where Tarses and Lawrence both have overall deals.

NBC has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of “The Hunting Party,” which returns to the network on Jan. 8, 2026.
The series stars Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Weschler, Patrick Sabongui, Josh McKenzie and Sara Garcia and features guest star appearances from Eric McCormack, Finnigan McCormack, Kelsey Grammer, Niecy Nash-Betts, Liz Gillies, Jefferson White and more.
Season 2 will follow the small team of investigators led by former FBI profiler Rebecca “Bex” Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh). According to the official synopsis, “They’ve been assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers the world has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from ‘The Pit,’ a top-secret government prison that’s not supposed to exist.

The synopsis continues, “As Bex races to catch these killers before it’s too late, she’ll discover the one thing more twisted than the dangerous fugitives she’s chasing is the prison itself that they just escaped from…because ‘The Pit’ wasn’t just a prison.”
“The Hunting Party” was created by JJ Bailey, who also serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Jake Coburn. Thor Freudenthal also executive produces and directs the series. Michael Jones Morales pens the script and is another executive producer on the show.

Wonder Project’s new family drama series, “It’s Not Like That,” will premiere with its first two episodes through its subscription service on Prime Video on Jan. 25, 2026.
The following eight episodes of the season will then debut weekly. Wonder Project will also sample the first episode on Prime Video for all subscribers on Jan. 25, 2026, with a global release on Prime Video to follow at a later date.
Starring Scott Foley, “It’s Not Like That” follows Malcolm (Foley), a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. The official logline states, “ Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom, parenthood and the complexities of Malcolm being a modern-day pastor. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?”
The cast also includes J.R. Ramirez as David Soto, Caleb Baumann as Merritt Soto, Cary Christopher as Justin Jeffries, Leven Miranda as Flora Jeffries, Liv Lindell as Casey Soto and Cassidy Paul as Penelope Jeffries.
“It’s Not Like That” was created by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Robinson, who also serve as showrunners alongside executive producer Garrett Lerner.
