Monty Python’s “Spamalot” is coming to Sydney’s Darling Quarter Theatre for a limited season later this year, presented by Ignite Theatre Company.
Breathing new life and laughter into the theatre, “Spamalot” is lovingly ripped off from the iconic 1975 film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the film humorously follows the journey of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table on their quest for the Holy Grail.
“Spamalot” retells the story on the stage, bursting with catching songs, absurd humour, and zany characters. The Tony Award-winning musical is a rollicking celebration of all things Monty Python.
The Ignite Theatre Company production features a cast of 16 emerging Australian performers, reading to bring the musical to the independent theatre stage.

We are passionate about continuing our mission to champion and showcase incredibly talented emerging Australian musical theatre performers and creatives.”
It has a strictly limited run time, from November 13th-16th at Sydney’s Darling Quarter Theatre. See here for tickets and more information.
