Ronan Keating is returning to “The Voice Australia,” coming soon to Seven and 7plus.
He joins a star-studded coaching panel that includes Spice Girl Melanie C, GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Richard Marx and returning vocal powerhouse Kate Miller-Heidke. “He’s done this before and that’s what makes him dangerous,” warns Kate Miller-Heidke.
Ronan is a seasoned “Voice” coach, having appeared on versions of the show in Australia, the UK and Germany. “I don’t have a GRAMMY,” he admits, “but I have a lot of smash-hit awards. I’ve got Most Boyfriendable.”
He also embraces his ties to Australia: “I’m kinda half Australian. My kids have Australian passports. My wife’s Australian.”
Richard Marx brings decades of music industry experience to the panel. With 14 No. 1 hits, he has also written or produced for stars including Madonna, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Cher, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Luther Vandross.
“I came here to win ‘The Voice Australia,’” says Marx.
Hosted by TV WEEK Gold Logie winner Sonia Kruger, the new season promises “high drama, jaw-dropping talent, and serious star power.”
“The Voice,” Kate Miller-Heidke and Sonia Kruger are all nominated for the 65th TV WEEK Logie Awards, airing Sunday, August 3, exclusively on Seven and 7plus.
