Australian reality star Konrad Bien-Stephen has passed away at the age of 35.
Bien-Stephen’s management confirmed the news in a statement this morning (April 2). It’s understood that Bien-Stephen passed away on Monday night (March 30) in Melbourne. No other details have been forthcoming at the time of writing.
“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Konrad Bien-Stephen,” the statement said. “We ask that you respect the privacy of their family during this incredibly difficult time. No further information will be shared at this stage. Our thoughts are with all who loved him.”
Bien-Stephen first rose to national fame as a contestant on Brooke Blurton’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2021. He finished that season in fourth place, going on to compete on “The Challenge Australia” the following year.
Bien-Stephen famously dated fellow reality TV personality Abbie Chatfield from November 2021 to August 2022. He was most recently in a relationship with Australian singer-songwriter Thelma Plum.
Bien-Stephen’s last Instagram post came just six days ago, showing him on a job site.
“Back On The Tewls Darling! Carlton kitchen renovation loading…” he wrote alongside the post.

The post has since been inundates with tributes following his death.
“I’m a Celebrity” and “MAFS” star Cyrell Paule wrote, “RIP.”
Brittany Hockley commented, “Konrad”, accompanied by two broken heart emojis.
“The Amazing Race” contestant Luke O’Halloran said, “Love ya mate x.”
