Paramount has announced it will be the exclusive platform for new episodes of two series from UFC — the ongoing “Dana White’s Contender Series” and the new season of “The Ultimate Fighter” coming in 2026.
This follows the announcement in October that Australian Paramount+ subscribers will have access to all live UFC Fight Night events and will enjoy the prelim fights for all numbered events as part of their subscription from January 2026.
“Dana White’s Contender Series,” the brainchild of UFC CEO and series host Dana White, sees UFC hopefuls get their opportunity to impress White and UFC Matchmakers in order to secure a contract with the massively popular fighting league. It’s been the starting point for many prominent UFC fighters, including Sean O’Malley, Jamahal Hill, Jack Della Maddalena, Carlos Prates, Michael Morales, Bo Nickal, Maycee Barber, Jailton Almeida, Brendan Allen, Caio Borralho, Johnny Walker and more.
“The Ultimate Fighter” is a groundbreaking reality series that first aired in 2003. In the two decades since, it’s followed professional MMA fighters living and training together to then compete against each other in order to secure a contract with the UFC. It’s also been a home for many notable names in the league, including Julianna Peña, Kamaru Usman, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Rose Namajunas, Michael Bisping, Robert Whittaker, Nate Diaz, Tony Ferguson, T.J. Dillashaw, Matt Serra, Michael Chiesa, Al Iaquinta, Kelvin Gastelum, Uriah Hall and others.
The UFC and Paramount+ partnership will begin with the airing of the UFC 324 prelims on Sunday, January 25, 2026, on Paramount+ and Network 10. It comes in a whirlwind of news surrounding Paramount, including its whopping hostile bid for the takeover of Warner Bros.
Dealings aside, Paramount+ continues to carve its niche in the ever-expanding streaming market with what it describes as a new “commitment to delivering world-class sports experiences to global audiences”.
