Marvel Animation has announced the second season of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” will release on Disney+ in fall 2026. The news came at New York Comic Con, along with a trailer shown to fans in the room.

The trailer revealed that Season 2 will introduce the Venom symbiote, Gwen Stacy and bring back Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. It also showed the returns of Norman and Harry Osborn, villains like Doctor Octopus, Chameleon and Scorpion, and the emergence of Nico Minoru’s magical powers.

Hudson Thames voices Peter Parker in “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” which debuted on Disney+ in early 2025. The animated series takes place in a universe separate from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU, and there are lots of key differences between the two wall crawlers.

Instead of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark mentoring young Peter Parker, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” replaces him with Norman Osborn (voiced by Colman Domingo), better known as the Green Goblin in past movies and comics. This version of Norman is the CEO of Oscorp and gives Peter and his pals internships, but his true motives are suspicious.

Instead of Zendaya’s Mary-Jane and Jacob Batalon’s Ned, Peter’s new friends are influencer Harry Osborn (Zeno Robinson) and secret witchcraft user Nico Minoru (Grace Song). The cast also includes Eugene Byrd as a young version of classic Spider-Man villain Tombstone, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, MCU star Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Aleks Le as Amadeus Cho and Jonathan Medina as the villainous Scorpion.

Season 1 of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” ended on several cliffhangers. Doctor Strange (Robert Atkin Downes) helped Spidey fight the Venom alien symbiote after it arrived from another dimension. Norman Osborn secretly kept a piece of the symbiote to experiment on. It’s also revealed that Peter’s father Richard, long thought to be dead, is actually alive and in prison.
