Megan Thee Stallion has won her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Cooper, also known as Milagro Gramz.

A Florida jury on Monday backed the rapper’s claims that Cooper had harassed and defamed her after singer Tory Lanez shot her in July 2020. According to NBC News, Megan was awarded $75,000 before U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga reduced it to $59,000.

Megan initially sued Cooper in October 2024, claiming that she had conspired with Lanez to defame her after Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison on three felony charges. Megan accused Cooper of being a “paid surrogate” and “mouthpiece” for Lanez following her testimony against the singer.

She also alleged that Cooper promoted a sexually explicit deepfake of Megan on social media by encouraging her followers to view it. “I feel like … to this day, I feel a little, like, defeated,” Megan testified, according to NBC News. “Because no matter what, no matter if the video was fake or not … [Gramz] wanted it to be real.”

Megan stated that Cooper’s actions harmed her mental health. “It’s really embarrassing to have to look at what the people don’t know,” she said. “See, in a position like that, like, I know it’s not me, but to be in front of everybody else and they have to watch it — it’s really embarrassing.”

Earlier this year, Megan was granted a five-year restraining order against Lanez. She claimed that he had been harassing her from behind bars as he serves his sentence, and that she testified via video call that she was fearful of what would happen to her after Lanez’s release. “I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won’t make it,” she said.
