Taylor Swift to Appear on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

Taylor Swift is set to return to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Oct. 6, just days after the Oct. 3 release of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

The episode will also feature guest Keri Russell and a musical performance by the Format. It will air at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams next day on Peacock.

“The Tonight Show” teased Swift’s appearance on Thursday morning via social media with a “Showgirl”-themed video trailer utilizing Swift-style easter eggs — including the number 13, Vegas showgirls and the album’s unofficial catchphrase: “And, baby, that’s show business for you.”

Swift last appeared alongside Fallon in 2022 to promote her promote her album “Midnights.” She did the same for “Red (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021, and during that same cycle, she did back-to-back stops on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” and “Saturday Night Live.”

This year, in addition to her “Tonight Show” appearance, Swift will be returning to “The Graham Norton Show” on the album’s release day, Oct. 3. She’ll be appearing alongside Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson.

The media blitz continues on the big screen where Swift will celebrate her album’s release with an 89-minute in-theatre extravaganza dubbed “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.” The gathering will run in cinemas on Friday through Sunday of Swift’s album release weekend. Locations will include all 540 AMC Theatres locations, in keeping with the superstar’s ongoing deal with AMC Theatres Distribution.

Screenings will additionally roll out in thousands of non-AMC locations in North America as well, including Cinemark and Regal theaters.
