Supanova is one of Australia’s biggest entertainment events, and organisers have curated an exciting lineup of guests among the wider offerings of this year’s edition.

Taking place in Adelaide at the Adelaide Showground from October 31 to November 2, then headed to Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Queensland capital from November 7 to November 9, the annual event is a gathering of all things pop culture, with stars, guest speakers, exhibitors, competitions and much more.

First things first, the star power. “Star Wars” fans rejoice, because you’ll have the chance to meet the faces behind the First Order Trooper-turned Resistance hero FN-2187 (aka Finn), fugitive Order 66 survivor Cal Kestis and former Nightsister, now Imperial devotee Morgan Elsbeth and even Coruscant’s favourite death sticks dealer.

That’s right, John Boyega (“Star Wars” episodes VII-IX, “Attack the Block,” “They Cloned Tyrone”), Cameron Monaghan (“Jedi: Fallen Order & Survivor,” “Gotham,” “Shameless”), Diana Lee Inosanto (“The Mandalorian,” “Ahsoka,” “Star Wars: Tales of the Empire”) and Matt Doran (“Attack of the Clones”) are leading the celebrity guests (Doran is Brisbane only, Lee Inosanto is Adelaide only).

Love Film & TV?

Get your daily dose of everything happening in music, film and TV in Australia and abroad.

Three icons of voice acting will be making appearances. Nolan North (best known as Nathan Drake in the “Uncharted” game series), Jim Cummings (“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Christopher Robin,” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) and the iconic original voice of “Astro Boy” Mari Shimizu will all be making plenty of childhood dreams come true across both events.

“Doctor Who” fans, Billie Piper (none other than Rose Tyler) will be in attendance at Adelaide, and “Charmed” fans can gather to meet the dream team themselves; Holly Marie Combs and Brian Kause will hit both events.

Scooby-Doo himself, voice actor Neil Fanning, will be in attendance at Supanova Brisbane. Loyal viewers of the CW television universe can meet Alex Garfin and Jordan Elsass (“Superman & Lois”), who are being joined by “Transformers” mainstay Gregg Berger, the voice of Gridlock.

Readers best keep some of your favourite copies on hand if you’re fans of “The Crucible” trilogy, “Astro Boy” or have read any “Star Wars” comics or High Republic novels in recent years — Ken Steacy and Charles Soule will be at both events, and will be joined by Abigail Owen at Supanova Brisbane. Comic readers alike, you’ll be able to meet former Marvel Comic Creative Director Jim Krueger and multidisciplinary artist Jaime Jameson.

Supanova’s Level Up powered by ACS makes its awaited return to Brisbane and debuts for the very first time in Adelaide, showcasing panels, workshops and pathways into gaming, technology and the creative industries.

Headlining the program are veteran Australian comedian and presenter Adam Spencer and acclaimed director Alex Proyas (“The Crow,” “Dark City”), who will both host keynote sessions on the respective Fridays.

Alongside Supa-Star Q&As, cosplay competitions, esports tournaments and a vibrant show floor of exhibitors, both events promise an unforgettable celebration of fandom and community, uniting pop culture fans of all ages under one roof.
