Koy has built a global fanbase with his relatable, family-inspired comedy. From performing in a Las Vegas coffee house to selling out arenas, he has set records at major venues like the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, The Forum in Los Angeles, Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, ICC Theatre in Sydney, and Radio City Music Hall in New York.
His career extends beyond stand-up. Koy starred in “Easter Sunday”, a Universal Pictures comedy based on his life and comedy. He has released four Netflix specials, including “Jo Koy: Live from Brooklyn”, an unfiltered stand-up set covering energy vampires, mumble rap, emoji flirting, and the surprise of being called a “zaddy.” His stand-up album Live From Seattle hit #1 on the Billboard charts, and his bestselling autobiography “Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo” explores his upbringing and career.
In 2018, Koy received the prestigious “Stand-Up Comedian of the Year” award at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. With his signature storytelling and sharp observations, Koy’s upcoming tour promises to bring plenty of laughs to audiences across Australia and New Zealand.
