Blumhouse-Atomic Monster Sets New ‘Paranormal Activity’ Movie at Paramount

Paranormal Activity” will terrify moviegoers yet again with a new entry in the $900 million-grossing franchise, as BlumhouseAtomic Monster partner with Paramount Pictures on a new movie.

The film will be co-financed and co-produced by Paramount Pictures and Blumhouse-Atomic Monster, with Paramount handling worldwide distribution. Plot details are being kept closely under wraps, but the project is moving forward as priority development for all parties.

The original “Paranormal Activity,” created by Oren Peli, went on to gross nearly $194 million worldwide, and the franchise has since expanded to seven installments: 2010’s “Paranormal Activity 2,” 2011’s “Paranormal Activity 3,” 2012’s “Paranormal Activity 4,” 2014’s “The Marked Ones,” 2015’s “The Ghost Dimension” and 2021’s “Next of Kin.”

The Hollywood Reporter first reported news of the forthcoming film.
