Elevate Production Finance (EPF), the Australia-based global film and TV financing company that has backed titles such as “Eden,” “Better Man” and “Three Thousand Years of Longing,” has appointed Charles Auty as its new chief executive officer.

Auty, previously chief commercial officer, steps into the role effective immediately. He succeeds Craig McMahon, who will continue as executive chairman of EPF and as CEO of EPF’s parent company, Forte Corp Holdings.

Auty, who has two decades of experience structuring and closing independent film and TV deals, will lead EPF’s strategy and operations across its global footprint, driving the company’s next phase of growth and advancing its position as a financing partner to producers and investors worldwide.

“Charles has been instrumental in shaping EPF into the global financing partner it is today,” said McMahon. “His sharp commercial instincts, deep relationships across the industry, and passion for storytelling make him the right leader to guide the company into its next phase of growth. I’m confident EPF will continue to thrive under his leadership.”

Auty’s financing credits include recent TV series “Mix Tape,” starring Teresa Palmer and Jim Sturgess, David Walliams’ “Fing” with Taika Waititi, “War With Grandpa” starring Robert De Niro, “Terminal” starring Margot Robbie, “High Rise” with Tom Hiddleston, and Oscar nominated films, “Carol” starring Cate Blanchett and “Brooklyn” starring Saoirse Ronan.

“EPF has built its reputation on agility, creativity, and through delivery of innovative financing solutions that empower filmmakers to bring captivating stories to life,” said Auty. “I’m grateful to Craig for his leadership and the continued support of Forte Corp Holdings, which provides us with a strong foundation as we enter our next phase of growth. I look forward to leading the team as we strengthen our international presence and deepen our partnerships with producers and investors worldwide.”
