It will be hosted by Julia Zemiro and Brian Nankervis, who is also the show’s co-creator.

Guests will include Jimmy Barnes, Vance Joy, Tina Arena, Ben Lee, Dan Sultan, Sam Cromack, Allen Stone, Meg Washington, Chris Cheney, Ella Hooper, Meg Mac, Wilsn, Isabella Manfredi, Gretta Ray, Fanny Lumsden and Thndo.

There will be eight 30-minute episodes in the season.

Ken Connor, co-creator and series producer, said: “We are thrilled to be back on the television, entertaining “Rockwiz” fans new and old. As always, our talented, musical guests will be a mixture of headline acts and emerging artists.”

Peter Bain-Hogg, fellow co-creator and series producer, added: “It’s such a joy to bring “Rockwiz” back so we can give the artists we love a chance to perform their songs, and a duet they have chosen, live in front of a studio audience.”

The series is produced for the Foxtel Group by Connor and Bain-Hogg’s Renegade Films.

It will screen on Foxtel’s Fox8 channel.

The original series ran for 14 seasons between 2005 and 2016 on SBS. Renegade Films produced over 170 episodes in its first run.
