“The Hundred with Andy Lee” will be back on Channel 9 and 9Now on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
The large-scale panel show will go to air after “The Block”.
“The Hundred” is hosted by Andy Lee, who co-hosts the chart-topping podcast “Hamish and Andy” with Hamish Blake and was previously a team leader on the revived TV show “Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation”.
“The Hundred with Andy Lee” features comedians and celebrity guests as well as 100 ‘everyday Aussies’ who are said to represent the pulse of what the country is really thinking and doing.
This time, the panel and guests will tackle questions including: How many Aussies have not had COVID yet? How many people are adopted? Do you call your mum every day? And how many people lie on their resume?
Guests for Season 3 will include Tom Gleeson, Tommy Little, Nazeem Hussain, Luke McGregor, Sophie Monk, Nath Valvo, Susie Youseff, Lizzie Hoo and Lee’s long-term collaborator Blake.
Segments including ‘Pick the Percent’ and ‘Celeb-A-Really’ will return alongside new games ‘Couples Court’ where couples look to settle irritating domestic quibbles. ‘Is It Rude?’, another new segment, will endeavour to get to the bottom of social etiquette’s greyest areas, while ‘Snogging with the Stars’ will get the panel to determine which celebrity a member of The Hundred has kissed.
Lee was upbeat about the show’s return.
“I asked ‘The Hundred’ whether they wanted another season of the show and it was a resounding ‘Yes’. You have to trust the data. I also asked them whether they wanted Gold Logie winner Hamish Blake to replace me as host and I’ve decided to keep their answer confidential. Some data you can’t trust. I’ll be back for Season 3,” he said.
The program is produced by Endemol Shine Australia for the Nine Network.
